Welcome to our class!
My name is Mrs. Kerstetter, and I will be your teacher this year. I am so excited to start our year together! We have so many fun activities planned for our time together. I am very excited to meet you and hear all about your summer. This is my 10th year teaching in Monroe Township and my 9th year teaching second grade. I graduated from Rutgers University and love to go back and visit especially for football games!

Welcome to our class!
My name is Mrs. Kerstetter, and I will be your teacher this year. I am excited to start our year together! We have so many fun activities planned for our time together. I am very excited to meet you and hear all about your summer. This is my 10th year teaching in Monroe Township and my 9th year teaching second grade. I graduated from Rutgers University and love to go back and visit! I cannot wait to meet you and learn all about you. Here are some fun facts about me!
1. I just got married in March and changed my name from Miss Chin to Mrs. Kerstetter!
2. I have a younger brother and younger sister. My brother lives in Los Angeles, California, and my sister lives in Corning, New York.
3. I relax best at the beach.
4. Trying different kinds of foods from all around the world is one of my favorite things to do.
5. I love dogs, and my dog's name is Callie. She is 7 years old just like some of you!
6. I enjoy exercising, and it makes me feel happy. My two favorite kinds of exercise are kickboxing and hiking.
7. I grew up in Monroe Township, went to Brookside for 5th and 6th grade, attended Applegarth for middle school, and graduated from Monroe Township High School (which used to be what is now the middle school).
8. One of my favorite things to do is take pictures. I like to look back at all of the fun things I have done with my friends and family.
9. I love to bake. I especially enjoy decorating cupcakes and cake pops.
10. My favorite seasons are the winter and summer. I love the snow and to ski in the winter, and I collect lots of shells at the beach in the summer.
